Innovative Teaching Practices
An intricate world requires progressively extensive education. We at the Department of Civil Engineering, attain this through continued and improveddemanding technical curriculum and rich, interdisciplinary learning environment. Learning can never conclude – especially for engineers, because the world around us is changing at a rapid pace. Engineering and technological development becomes more and more globalized, interdisciplinary. To address these challenging issues, and produce competent professionals, the department of Civil Engineering aims to build SMART (Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic Timebound) engineers through various modes of learning for overall holistic development of students: The learning is provided in the form of following Teaching Schemes: Project Based Learning (PBL), Technology Based Learning (TBL) and Activity Based Learning (ABL) beyond University prescribed curriculum.
